Tokyo, Jan 20, 2015 - (JCN Newswire) - JCB International Co., Ltd (JCBI), the international operations subsidiary of JCB, announced that card complete Service Bank AG (card complete) has agreed to start issuing the first JCB card in Austria.
The announcement was made in Vienna by Mr Kimihisa Imada, Deputy President of JCBI, and Dr Heimo Hackel, CEO of card complete, at the JCB EMEA Conference held at The Hotel Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom on January 19.
From JCB's side, Mr Imada said, "I am excited about this new card issuance by card complete, who has such a solid cardmember base in Austria. Our cardmember base will expand through this new card issuance, and the collaboration will also be an opportunity to grow JCB's brand awareness towards more comprehensive coverage across Europe. We are committed to expanding card issuing and merchant acquiring in international markets and to further developing our European business."
